There’s always a better.

Is ‘good enough‘ ever good enough?

Not only do my parents want the best for me, they want the better. Well, guess what? There’s always a better. Even though I try my best, it’s never quite good enough. Even though I do good, I could always do BETTER.There’s always a better… and I can never seem to get there. I can do ‘good enough’, but that’s never good enough for my parents.

I try! … But sometimes I just want to stop trying.

Oops… a day late.

… sucky day, I need someone to lean on… =*(

Sometimes in our lives we all have pain
We all have sorrow
But if we are wise
We know that there’s always tomorrow

Lean on me, when you’re not strong
And I’ll be your friend
I’ll help you carry on
For it won’t be long
‘Til I’m gonna need
Somebody to lean on

Please swallow your pride
If I have things you need to borrow
For no one can fill those of your needs
That you don’t let show

Lean on me, when you’re not strong
And I’ll be your friend
I’ll help you carry on
For it won’t be long
‘Til I’m gonna need
Somebody to lean on

If there is a load you have to bear
That you can’t carry
I’m right up the road
I’ll share your load
If you just call me

So just call on me brother, when you need a hand
We all need somebody to lean on
I just might have a problem that you’d understand
We all need somebody to lean on

Lean on me when you’re not strong
And I’ll be your friend
I’ll help you carry on
For it won’t be long
Till I’m gonna need
Somebody to lean on

Lean on me…

One-Act

This year’s ONE ACT FESTIVAL at Rangeview High School was amazing! Our class did “Wendy’s Tale”… basically a story about a student named Wendy who can’t test because her imagination gets in the way (ADD, yeah?).

I played Wendy (the lead *gasp*!)

I also got an award: One Act Achievement in Acting =) Mezza muy proud of myself

Acting was cool, BUT TECH IS BETTER!

TECHIES RULE!!!

This is interesting…

What’s unusual about this paragraph? It looks so ordinary that you’d think nothing was wrong with it at all, and in fact nothing is. But it is unusual, why? If you study it and think about it, you may find out, but you must do it without coaching. If you work at it long, its curiosity in it will dawn on you.

Friday Riddle

Dee Septor, the famous magician, was standing in an empty room in which two very thin ropes were hanging from the ceiling. These two ropes were just far enough apart from each other that if Dee held one of them by its end and reached for the other it would still be a half meter beyond his reach. Using only a knife, Dee Septor was able to tie the ends of the two ropes together and still leave them attached to the ceiling. How?

Poor Rachel…

•January 4, 2007 • Leave a Comment

Dude, now Rachel’s got the chicken pox. Dang.

Jerusha asked why they’re called, “Chicken Pox”, so I did a little research (over break! Aren’t you proud of me?)

 ____________________________________

People long ago felt the chicken pox looked like chick peas placed upon the skin. The Latin word for chick peas is cicer which is the original word that chicken pox got its name.

So you see, chicken pox has nothing to do with chickens, but the red bumps you have on your body were once thought to look like the vegetable called chick peas.

Bleh. Feel better, sissies!

I’m good at sharing

LOL! So I finally got over the chicken pox, and (being such a nice big sister), I SHARED the pox with my wonderful little sissies.

Now Summer, Abbie, and Caro all have superb little red spots everywhere.

x[ Sorry!

Right now they’re all on the couch (with their blankets, pillows, water, anti-itch cream, tylenol, etc.) watching Willy Wonka (the old one). It’s kind of an annoying movie, actually.

Pray that Rachel doesn’t get them! If she does get ‘em now, she might miss FINALS at school. That’d bite!
